The Z4 Coupé is one of the highlights of the sports car segment and, in M guise, delivers a performance that is way beyond criticism. Nevertheless, everything can be made that little bit better. HAMANN took up the challenge and has not only created an aerodynamic kit for the Z4 M Coupé but also boosted the engine output. Additionally, a large range of accessories contributes to greater individuality.
New aerodynamic components
A HAMANN front spoiler gives the Z4 Coupé a more striking look. It gives the car even more sporting lines and comes with ellipsoidal fog lamps. At the same time, it cuts front-end lifting force. For customers who prefer to retain the original bumper, HAMANN can provide mouldings with air inlets. Side skirts lower the Z4 visually and make Chris Bangle's rather austere lines more pleasing to the eye. Additionally, an air inlet on each side, positioned just ahead of the rear wing, ensures better cooling for the rear brakes. The Laupheim-based tuning company also offers mouldings for the headlight, which round off the visual improvements at the front. To reduce rear-end lifting force, HAMANN fits a striking rear spoiler to the tailgate. The spoiler blends in perfectly with the basic design and emphasises the car's attractive rear end. The roof spoiler also makes an aerodynamic and visual contribution to the Z4 M Coupé by HAMANN. The final optical tweak is the rear diffuser, which HAMANN fits under the rear skirt, whereby cut-outs for the exhaust tailpipes act as counterparts to the apertures in the rear skirt. Thus, the tailpipes are completely surrounded by components, which gives the rear view an additional competition touch.Anyone who considers the (limited) max. speed of 250 km/h to be insufficient can ask HAMANN to derestrict the engine, which results in a top speed of 273 km/h with the standard engine. Blessed with 343 bhp ex-works, HAMANN tickles a little bit more out of the high-revving engine. Reprogramming the standard engine management system produces an extra 15 bhp (11 kW). Torque rises by 20 Nm. Reprogramming also includes circumvention of the Vmax limit and, after being thus tweaked, the HAMANN Z4 M Coupé reaches 275 km/h.A great engine needs a great sound. Accordingly, HAMANN offers a 4-tailpipe rear silencer with stainless-steel tailpipes (4 x 76 mm diameter) for the Z4 M Coupé. Even better sound and a more immediate reaction to throttle changes can be achieved by installing a high-performance exhaust manifold and metal sports catalytic converters. HAMANN provides for even greater agility by fitting progressive suspension springs that lower the ride height by 25 mm. To make the body even stiffer, HAMANN also offers a two-part strut-tower breach (with HAMANN logo), which is fitted at the front.
Two wheel designs in 19 and 20 inches
When it comes to wheels, the HAMANN range has few challengers. In other words, customers have a tempting choice of two aluminium designs and different dimensions for the Z4 M Coupé. HAMANN wheels can also be ordered as complete sets of wheels with tyres.

HAMANN extracts performance values from the top diesel model, the 535d, which were considered impossible until now. In the first phase, the tuner increases power to 319 HP/235 kW. The maximum torque of 630 Nm makes it possible to get impressive in-gear performance figures. The limousine can make the sprint from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds instead of the standard 6.5 seconds (add 0.1 s for the estate model). The top speed - HAMANN removes the Vmax governor - increases to 267 km/h. Wheels from 18 to 20-inches

HAMANN really goes to town when it comes to wheels. Three unique individual designs and three sizes from 18 to 20 inch make selection difficult. A multispoke design is featured in the single-piece rim Anniversary I is available in silver finish and features an outer rim with an INOX steel lip. HAMANN offers it in 18, 19 and 20 inch versions. The wheel PG3 is a multiple five-spoke composite wheel in silver with a high-gloss polished rim flange. Here customers can choose between sizes 19 and 20 inches.

Unquestionably, 20 inch wheels suit the customized 3-Series Convertible best. HAMANN offers this size as top model design Edition Race. The appearance of this three piece, ultra-lightweight, forged rim is a cross-spoke design with a black spider characterized by the 9 main spokes, each of which branches outwards into 2 further spokes. Following this exciting design, the titanium bolts are a particularly attention-getting design. The high-gloss rim flange adds the finishing touch to this stylish look.

Better handling and powerful gripping brakes

By fitting a suspension lowering kit comprising of four progressive suspension struts, HAMANN succeeds in lowering the vehicles center of gravity by 35 mm front and by 20 mm rear. For vehicles with sport suspension tuning systems from stock, thats still around 15 mm. In both cases, a clearly better handling results. Among race drives it is said races are won on the brakes. For those who prefer to use somewhat more rapid acceleration, HAMANN program suggests powerful gripping brakes for security purposes!

Interior designed with numerable accessories creates an even more pleasurable stay in HAMANNs 3-Series Cabrio. Thanks to the three-spoke HAMANN airbag sports steering wheel, the drivers hands always hold the reins securely. A sporty flair is added by the decorative carbon-fiber components, which HAMANN fits to the dashboard, center console, ashtray trim, doors, steering wheel, gearshift knob, handbrake lever and the I-Drive-Controller. HAMANN adds further sporty nuances in the form of sport gearshift knobs (in aluminum or leather/aluminum), aluminum pedals, an aluminum handbrake lever and an aluminum footrest. Anyone who thinks that an off-road car is not suitable for cruising around in and should always remain untouched for off-road driving, should stop reading here. Fortunately, however, HAMANN and most drivers of a Range Rover Sport see things differently. After all, they do tend to drive mostly on tarmac rather than through forests and across open countryside.

To ensure that the performance on tarmac with such a heavy vehicle as the Range Rover doesn’t disappoint, HAMANN starts out by tuning the engine. Both with the 2.7 liter V6 Diesel and the 4.4 liter V8, the Laupheim-based tuning specialist optimizes the characteristic maps. By recalibrating the series ECU, the Diesel generates 165 kW/225 bhp at 4000 rpm, the torque being a solid 510 Nm even at 1900 rpm. Following the modification, the 4.4 liter naturally aspirated engine generates an impressive 238 kW/323 bhp at 5500 rpm and 450 Nm at 4000 rpm. Look out export customers – the HAMANN SPORTKIT for the series V8 supercharged engine turns the Range Rover Sport into a real racer! To achieve the power boost to 349 kW/475 bhp at 5740 rpm and the maximum torque of 610 Nm at 3500 rpm, a number of tuning measures are required. In addition to optimized characteristic maps, HAMANN modifies the supercharger ratio and installs a sports high-performance header, sports metal catalytic converters and a sports rear muffler.

The latter emphasizes the sound of the newly acquired power. HAMANN offers the 4-pipe sports rear muffler with round stainless steel tailpipes (diameter 90 mm each) also independently of the power boost for all V8 engine configurations. For the 4.4i V8, a sports high-performance header and sports metal catalytic converters are also available (both exclusively for export).

Otherwise committed to the British sense of understatement, when equipped with its new aerodynamic body kit, the HAMANN Range Rover Sport speaks a different language. For instance, HAMANN fits a far sportier front apron with two integrated high beams and a pair of fog lights. HAMANN adorns the sides with side sills, whilst at the rear end, a rear apron provides the counter pole to the front spoiler. A roof spoiler allows the Range Rover Sport to run more smoothly at higher speeds. To complete the picture, HAMANN fits air inlet trims from carbon fiber.

To ensure that this juggernaut also stops quicker, HAMANN equips a sports braking system on the front axle, thus making a significant contribution to the safety. The system itself consists of two slotted and inside-vented brake discs in the dimension 380x34mm, two HAMANN eight-piston fixed caliper brakes in red (other colors available subject to an extra charge) plus special brake pads and Stahlflex brake pipes.

Rims in 20 to 23 inch models

As usual, HAMANN customers are spoilt for choice when it comes to wheel rims. The Laupheim specialists are offering no fewer than four designs.

Since large cars only look good with large wheels, HAMANN offers both designs PG3 and ANNIVERSARY I in 22 inch versions. The Laupheim car customizer fits the PG3 wheel, a composite rim, in the ‘Silver’ edition with a high-gloss varnished rim flange. The large 10.5x22 rim with a sporty five-spoke design is available from HAMANN also as a complete set of wheels fitted with tires in the dimension 295/30 ZR22 or 315/30 ZR22. The ANNIVERSARY I is a single-piece rim with a multi-spoke design which conveys a sense of lightness of foot. HAMANN supplies them in the ‘Silver’ edition with an INOX stainless steel lip adorning the flange. It is possible to fit this rim with the same tire sizes as the PG3.

For export, HAMANN also offers the ANNIVERSARY I rim as a 20 inch version, the ANNIVERSARY II as a 22 inch version and, as the highlight of the rim range for the Range Rover Sport, the ANNIVERSARY RACE rim in a chunky 23 inch design (10.5x23).

The stylish HAMANN rims harmonize beautifully with the electronically lowered suspension, which lowers the body of the Range Rover Sport by 40 mm at the front and by 30 mm at the rear, thus bringing the car closer to the road.

Anyone who knows HAMANN will also know that they don’t stop at the exterior. Accordingly, these tuning specialists from Southern Germany are also experts in tuning the interiors of cars. For instance, a car is given a motor racing touch by fitting an 8-piece carbon fiber interior set, which includes a decorative trim (4 piece) for the center console and door surrounds for the front and rear. The pedals are also adapted in keeping with the sporty look, with these being replaced by aluminum counterparts. A driver’s footrest is also available in aluminum. And the exclusive set of HAMANN foot mats by no means marks the end of the interior tuning.
